My aim is to make a social worker, to clean our village and to make a good man. In our village there are many diseases, like malaria, and I want to clean it far away from our village.
Welcome to the Blog for the Maitreya Education Project. The Project provides free education to village children from poor families in northern India. The unique curriculum, emphasising ethical development as well as academic achievement, covers primary, secondary and vocational education.
In Bodhgaya, the place of the Buddha's enlightenment in Bihar state, the Maitreya Universal Education School teaches 400 pupils from Kindergarten to completion of Class 10 Matriculation.
In Kushinagar, the place where the Buddha passed away in Uttar Pradesh state, similar schools will be built.
